CNN Central News and Network – ITDC India ePress / ITDC News Bhopal: A weekly review meeting on time-bound letters was held on Friday in the conference hall of the Commissioner’s Office under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Sanjeev Singh.
While reviewing procurement operations, Commissioner Singh directed the officials that the last date for wheat procurement at Minimum Support Price (MSP) at procurement centers has been extended from May 23 to May 28. He instructed officials to ensure the smooth completion of wheat procurement from farmers within this extended period.
Commissioner Singh also reviewed departmental-wise pending complaints older than 100 days registered on the Chief Minister Helpline. He directed all concerned officials to ensure priority-based and satisfactory resolution of these complaints. He further instructed all departments to work in coordination to improve the overall ranking of the Bhopal Division.
Keeping public health in view, he directed concerned officials to conduct intensive inspection drives against those involved in adulteration of food items and take strict legal action against violators.

During the review of the Urban Development and Housing Department, Commissioner Singh instructed officials to constitute committees as per the provisions of the Solid Waste Management Rules 2026 and ensure necessary action and compliance with regulations.
In view of the upcoming monsoon season, Divisional Commissioner Sanjeev Singh directed Deputy Commissioner Kiran Gupta to convene a joint meeting of all concerned departments regarding pre-monsoon preparations. He emphasized that the meeting should review measures to prevent waterlogging, cleaning of drains and nallahs, and disaster management preparedness, and issue necessary guidelines in a timely manner.
The meeting was attended by Revenue Deputy Commissioner Kiran Gupta, Joint Commissioner Vinod Yadav, and other concerned officials.
