CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India ePress/ITDC News Bhopal: A weekly review meeting on time-limit letters was held in the conference hall of the Divisional Commissioner’s office under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Sanjeev Singh. Singh directed officials to prepare an action plan for public welfare camps to be held from June 12 to June 18 at the headquarters of every development block and urban local body.

Singh said that along with registration at the public welfare camps, revenue-related complaints should also be taken up and as many pending cases as possible under the Public Service Guarantee should be resolved. He also directed the Agriculture and Welfare Department to compulsorily organise exhibitions and workshops in all districts to promote natural and organic farming. Officials were instructed to prepare an action plan for programmes related to the One Tree in Mother’s Name cleanliness campaign, natural farming workshops and International Yoga Day, and to ensure dignified आयोजन in all districts of the division.

Reviewing procurement work, he instructed officials to ensure wheat procurement at the minimum support price at procurement centres, transportation, and timely payment to farmers. He said smooth completion of wheat procurement from farmers within the stipulated period must be ensured.

Singh also reviewed department-wise complaints pending for more than 100 days on the Chief Minister Helpline. He directed all concerned officers to ensure satisfactory disposal of complaints on priority. He also instructed all departments to work in coordination to improve the overall ranking of Bhopal division.

In view of the upcoming monsoon season, Divisional Commissioner Sanjeev Singh directed Deputy Commissioner Kiran Gupta to convene a joint meeting of all concerned departments regarding pre-monsoon preparedness. He made it clear that the meeting should review desilting and cleaning of drains to prevent waterlogging, as well as disaster management preparations, so that necessary directions can be issued in time.

Revenue Deputy Commissioner Kiran Gupta, Joint Commissioner Vinod Yadav and other concerned officials were present at the meeting.
