CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: In view of the upcoming festivals of Durga Puja, Diwali, and Chhath, the railway administration has decided to run special trains for the convenience of passengers, considering the expected increase in passenger traffic. As part of this, West Central Railway will operate special trains for Durga Puja, Diwali, and Chhath Puja to accommodate the additional passenger traffic. These special trains will include air-conditioned, sleeper, and general class coaches. A total of 40 services of Puja special trains will be operated between Rewa-Rani Kamalapati-Rewa, Rani Kamalapati-Danapur-Rani Kamalapati, and Jabalpur-Danapur-Jabalpur. The details are as follows:
Rewa-Rani Kamalapati-Rewa Superfast Special Train (12 services)
Train No. 02190: Weekly special train will depart from Rewa at 12:30 PM every Saturday from October 5, 2024, to November 9, 2024, and arrive at Rani Kamalapati at 9:15 PM on the same day. (6 services)
Train No. 02189: Weekly special train will depart from Rani Kamalapati at 10:15 PM every Saturday from October 5, 2024, to November 9, 2024, and arrive at Rewa at 7:20 AM the next day. (6 services)
Stops: Satna, Maihar, Katni Murwara, Damoh, Sagar, Bina, and Vidisha.
Rani Kamalapati-Danapur-Rani Kamalapati Express Special Train (12 services)
Train No. 01661: Express special train will depart from Rani Kamalapati at 2:25 PM every Saturday and Tuesday from October 26, 2024, to November 12, 2024, and arrive at Danapur at 8:45 AM the next day. (6 services)
Train No. 01662: Express special train will depart from Danapur at 11:45 AM every Sunday and Wednesday from October 27, 2024, to November 13, 2024, and arrive at Rani Kamalapati at 7:40 AM the next day. (6 services)
Stops: Narmadapuram, Itarsi, Pipariya, Gadarwara, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Sihora Road, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Mirzapur, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar, and Ara.
Jabalpur-Danapur-Jabalpur Express Special Train (16 services)
Train No. 01705: Express special train will depart from Jabalpur at 7:35 PM every Wednesday and Friday from October 23, 2024, to November 15, 2024, and arrive at Danapur at 8:45 AM the next day. (8 services)
Train No. 01706: Express special train will depart from Danapur at 11:45 AM every Thursday and Saturday from October 24, 2024, to November 16, 2024, and arrive at Jabalpur at 12:10 AM the next day. (8 services)
Stops: Sihora Road, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Mirzapur, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar, and Ara.
