CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Nurse-Led Clinic initiative of the College of Nursing at AIIMS Bhopal was visited by Ms. Rakshita Khanijo, National Professional Officer from the Country Office of the World Health Organization (WHO), New Delhi. This initiative marks a significant milestone in strengthening nursing healthcare services in India.
On this occasion, Director Rakshita Khanijo interacted with patients, students, and faculty members, and appreciated the commendable efforts being undertaken by the College of Nursing, AIIMS Bhopal. She lauded the compassionate communication and evidence-based nursing care being provided through the Nurse-Led Clinic, which is emerging as an ideal model of effective, patient-centered care within the healthcare system.
On this occasion, Prof. Ajai Singh, Executive Director & CEO of AIIMS Bhopal, highlighted the importance of the nursing profession and quality nursing education in India’s healthcare sector. The event also saw participation from Prof. Amit Agrawal, Dean (Nursing and Paramedics), and Prof. Saikat Das, Associate Dean (Nursing and Paramedics), who emphasized the academic and research achievements of the College of Nursing over the past three years, reflecting the institution’s commitment to nursing education and interdisciplinary research.
