CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla stated that whenever a revolution occurs in a particular sector, it leads to rapid development—be it the Industrial Revolution or the Green Revolution. Similarly, if a Tourism Revolution takes place, it will also drive swift development in that region. Tourism is one such sector that creates the highest number of employment opportunities, and in places where tourism thrives, poverty and unemployment become nearly non-existent.
He emphasized that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, well-planned and integrated efforts are being made to develop infrastructure, preserve and promote traditional culture, and encourage private participation in the tourism sector. As a result of these efforts, Madhya Pradesh has now emerged as a region of immense tourism potential and an attractive destination for investment.
Mr. Shukla made these remarks during the inauguration of the new office of Travel India Tourism Pvt. Ltd. in Bhopal, a company that has been active in the travel and tourism sector for the past two decades.
He further added that the government is consistently working on infrastructure development, air connectivity, and essential incentives along with branding efforts. Continuous awareness campaigns are being conducted to bring global recognition to Madhya Pradesh’s rich tourism heritage. The state is developing attractive environments across various tourism domains including cultural, adventure, leisure, religious, spiritual, health and wellness, rural, and film tourism.
As tourists become more aware of Madhya Pradesh’s natural beauty, heritage sites, culture, and amenities, tourism will see faster growth. With strong efforts in exploring tourism potential, Madhya Pradesh will not only attract tourists from across India but also from international destinations.
