CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Bhopal Divisional Commissioner Sanjeev Singh, during a time-bound review meeting, constituted joint teams involving the departments of Higher Education, School Education, Women and Child Development, and Police to conduct women’s safety awareness campaign programs in colleges and schools across all districts.

Under the Hub for Empowerment of Women public awareness program at the district level, campaigns will be conducted to develop widespread sensitivity among girls and society regarding women’s dignity and safety. These programs will include awareness and preventive initiatives on domestic violence, child marriage eradication pledges, PCPNDT Act awareness, cyber security, self-defense training, and women’s respect and protection.

Commissioner Singh stated that in the first phase, all colleges and 50 schools in each district of the division will be included. A district-level online monitoring system will be managed by the District Task Force Committee of the Women and Child Development Department. Master trainers will be appointed at the district level, along with police teams, who will organize awareness camps in colleges and schools across all districts. He directed that within the next one week, the departments of Women and Child Development, School Education, and Higher Education should present a joint action plan.

During the time-bound meeting, Commissioner Singh held detailed discussions on all departmental points from the Collectors–Commissioners Conference and instructed officials to prepare departmental goals and action plans. He directed that arrangements be ensured in all districts for effective marketing and sale of natural and organic farming products from the agriculture and allied sectors. While reviewing the Animal Husbandry Department, he instructed the preparation of a detailed action plan in line with the ambitious target of increasing milk production in the Bhopal division to 5 million liters.

In the Health Department, he directed the preparation of a detailed action plan under the Dharti Abha Program for the identification and treatment of pregnant women, infants, and malnourished children, and instructed that 100 percent Ayushman cards be made in tribal and gram panchayat areas.

Commissioner Singh also directed that grievances on the CM Helpline be resolved promptly, with special attention to complaints pending for more than 100 days. He instructed the Public Works Department and other concerned departments to expedite road repair works. He emphasized that officers should act proactively and with commitment to ensure beneficiaries receive the benefits of various public welfare schemes of the government.

The meeting was attended by Joint Director Naqi Jahan Qureshi, Joint Director of Education Arvind Choragade, and other divisional officers from various departments.
