CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: As per the directions of the Madhya Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, Jabalpur, and under the guidance of Principal District Judge and Chairperson Manoj Kumar Srivastava, the final National Lok Adalat of the year 2025 will be held on 13 December 2025.
For the successful organization of the National Lok Adalat and to ensure wide publicity, promotional vehicles were flagged off from the District Court, Bhopal, by Principal District and Sessions Judge Manoj Kumar Srivastava. Since the occasion also coincided with World AIDS Day, awareness about AIDS prevention and safety was promoted through placards and banners. The promotional vehicles will spread information about the National Lok Adalat through jingles and flex banners across various urban and remote rural areas of Bhopal.
On this occasion, Principal District Judge and District Judge Sanjay Kumar Shahi, District Judge Santosh Kaul, along with other judges including Chief Judicial Magistrate Agnindra Kumar Dwivedi, Sunit Agrawal (Secretary, District Legal Services Authority), Legal Aid Officer B.M. Singh, President of the District Bar Association Deepak Khare, General Secretary Manoj Srivastava, and other association officials were present.
In the National Lok Adalat, special concessions are being offered by the Electricity Department and Municipal Corporation on outstanding bills, as well as on surcharge/penal fees in pending cases in the courts.
Benefits of the Lok Adalat
Mutual harmony between parties increases and bitterness ends.
Saves time, money, and effort.
No party loses; both sides are considered winners.
Court fees are refunded once the case is resolved in the Lok Adalat.
The order/decision of the Lok Adalat is final and cannot be appealed.
