CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: With an aim to create awareness about the role of our environment in sustaining life on our planet Earth and our commitment towards nature to protect its basic life support systems, Zonal Science Centre, Bhopal celebrated World Environment Day.
As a part of the programme, a painting competition on the theme ‘Go Green to Save Our Blue Planet’ for school children, a nature trail program with plant identification inside the center premises and screening of a nature film show etc. were organised. to be done .
Apart from this, all the employees of the center also planted trees in the center premises. Participation certificates were given to all the participants of the Nature Trail programme. All the meritorious participants of the painting competition will be given prizes and certificates. A total of 150 participants including students, teachers, parents, housewives and general public participated in all these programs.
