The World Environment Day was organized at Sant Hirdaram Girls College with great enthusiasm and awareness. The event was successfully conducted through the joint collaboration of NCC, NSS, and the Nature Club.
The objective was to increase environmental awareness and sensitivity among the students and faculty members. The program began with the distribution of seed balls, followed by seed planting by honored teachers and students. The esteemed Principal, Dr. Dalima Parwani, personally led the tree plantation drive and delivered an inspiring and enlightening session on the importance of environmental protection.
She emphasized the need for collective efforts to protect nature for future generations. The successful event was led by the following department heads: Shanti Sharma (NCC Officer), Vibha Khare (NSS Officer), and Shanta Belani (Nature Club Incharge). Principal Dalima Parwani warmly congratulated the organizers for this green and positive initiative and appreciated their efforts, which fostered a culture of environmental responsibility on campus.
The program concluded with hope and determination, where everyone pledged to contribute to building a healthy and green Earth.
