Community-level awareness activities will include rallies, essay competitions on ear hygiene, and quiz competitions.

Under the National Child Health Program (RBSK), specialized hearing tests and consultation sessions will be conducted in schools by RBSK teams.

Special Focus on Vulnerable Groups

Dr. Prabhakar Tiwari, Chief Medical and Health Officer of Bhopal, stated that under the National Deafness Control Program, special services are being provided to:

Newborns discharged from Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) and Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICUs)
