One Atman, One Voice, World Peace through Inner Peace – Global Spiritual Mahotsav, Bhopal
CNN Central News & Networks /ITDC India ePress Bhopal: A spiritual festival of followers of all sects and religions was held in the capital with immense joy and happiness in the format corresponding to the Global Spiritual Mahotsav Hyderabad.
In keeping with the series related to Global Spiritual Mahotsav 2024 Hyderabad, this festival was also organized in Bhopal on Sunday at Heartfulness, Yogashram, Bhopal.
In this innovative Mahotsav, local spiritual leaders and religious personalities including Arch Bishop of Bhopal AAS Durairaj, Sister BK Khushboo from Brahma Kumaris, Ashok Saxena from All World Gayatri Parivar, Giani Gurvinder Singh from Gurudwara Saheb Anand Nagar, Subhendra Pandit from Isha Foundation, Prabhushree Vasudama Das from ISKCON, TS Bawal from Patanjali Yogpeeth, Swami Vedattvanand Puri from Acharya Shankar Sanskrati Ekta Nyas, Shri Swami Krishnadhyanand Ji Maharaj from Ramakrishna Mission, Dr. Ajit Verma from Shri Aurobindo Ashram, Shri Ram Vinod Gaur from Transcendental Meditation, Dr. Himanshi Gupta from Art of Living. , Shri Bhante Shakya Putra Sagar Thero and followers from The Buddha Bhoomi Dhammadoot Sangha participated.
All the guests were welcomed by Neel Kelkar, in-charge of Heartfulness Centre.
The program commenced with a live telecast of the Kanha Shanti Vanam live event in Hyderabad. All present prayed for the core concept of the program to strive for world peace through inner peace.
All the experts expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Padma Bhushan awarded global spiritual guide and Sadguru Pujya Daaji, head of Heartfulness Institute, who made tireless efforts for Vasudhev Kutumbkam and today provides a platform to followers of all religions, sects and beliefs.
In this program organized under the joint aegis of Heartfulness Institute and Ministry of Culture, Government of India, highly enlightened and wise personalities in their energetic speeches put forward one thing in one voice that we all should work on ourselves because mental purification leads to spiritual purity. Only spiritual purity can keep a person at peace.
It may be noted that more than 1 lakh spiritual seekers participated in the Kanha Shanti Vanam program in Hyderabad, which started from March 14, under the joint aegis of the Ministry of Culture and the Heartfulness Institute of the Government of India and more than 10 lakh connected through various virtual information mediums. This program has been organized as a platform for followers of all sects, castes, religions, spiritual guides and intellectuals, which can be considered as the first initiative of this century.
Enlightened citizens expressed gratitude for the event in Bhopal that brought equality among all religions and unification of differences of opinion and demanded that such events be organized in future also.
