CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of World TB Day, an awareness program on tuberculosis (TB) was successfully organized at LN Medical College, Bhopal. The objective of the event was to raise awareness among students, healthcare workers, and the general public about TB prevention, identification, and treatment.

Dr. Megha Dubey (Assistant Professor, Pulmonary Medicine) and Shrikant Sonraya (Community Medicine) shared important insights as the keynote speakers of the event. The program was conducted under the guidance of Director A.K. Chaudhary, Dr. Sarla Menon, and Shehzad Hussain.

This year’s World TB Day theme focused on “Yes! We can end TB – Commitment, Investment, and Implementation.” On this occasion, attendees were informed in detail about TB prevention, timely diagnosis, and effective treatment. The event saw enthusiastic participation from a large number of students and medical professionals, making it a highly impactful and successful initiative.
