World Tuberculosis (TB) Day was observed at the Divisional Railway Hospital under the West Central Railway, Bhopal Division. The program was conducted under the guidance of Ajay Dongra, CMS, and in the special presence of Additional Chief Medical Superintendent Rachna Srivastava.
On this occasion, a seminar was organized in the hospital auditorium, where Senior DMO Bhuti Mehender provided detailed information to employees and their family members about the types of tuberculosis (TB), its treatment, and BCG vaccination.
During the seminar, participants were also informed about the sources of TB infection, its signs and symptoms, availability of medicines for treatment, and the potential complications that may arise if treatment is discontinued midway. Queries and doubts raised by the attendees were addressed satisfactorily.
The objective of the program was to raise awareness about tuberculosis and to emphasize the importance of timely diagnosis and complete treatment.
