CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Xavier Institute of Management (XIM), Bhubaneswar, organized X-EMINENCE 2025, marking the sixth edition of the annual business conclave for EMBA. This year’s theme was “Reimagining the Future.”
The conclave featured participation from several prominent personalities and distinguished guests, including Manish Pandey (Partner – Consulting, Deloitte), Arnab Banerjee (Director – Supply Chain AI, Micron Technology), Avinash Samal (Head of HR, TCS), Deputy Registrar Father V. Arokia Das, SJ, and EMBA Associate Dean Prof. S.S. Ganesh. Their valuable insights made the event impactful and memorable.
Sessions of the Conclave
The event was divided into two sessions.
First Session
The first session commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, setting a positive and welcoming tone. Prof. S.S. Ganesh and Father V. Arokia Das delivered opening speeches, providing an overview of the theme. The session was moderated by Prof. Soumyajyoti Datta.
The first speaker, Manish Pandey, emphasized that we are living in an era of technological advancements that were once unimaginable.
The second speaker, Arnab Banerjee, highlighted the need to understand the past to shape the future effectively. He remarked, “Our inability to learn and relearn can hold us back.”
The third speaker, Avinash Samal, stressed the importance of skill development and embracing change. He said, “Often, we limit ourselves by thinking, ‘I can’t do this.'”
The session concluded with a panel discussion followed by an interactive Q&A with students. Prof. Soumyajyoti Datta delivered the vote of thanks to wrap up the session.
Second Session
The second session was moderated by Bhaskar Basu.
The first speaker, Sharat Chandra (Founder, Empower Age Venture), shared inspirational insights on the theme “The Future is Already Here.”
The second speaker, Sachin Gangwar (Head of Sustainability, TCS), highlighted the importance of sustainable development and explained why companies must reduce their carbon footprint.
The final speaker, Sandhya Ramasubramaniam (Senior Vice President – Finance, Anand Rathi Wealth Limited), discussed the principles of finance and wealth management, emphasizing prudent investment and risk management.
The session ended with a panel discussion and Q&A session, followed by a vote of thanks by Director Bhaskar Basu.
X-EMINENCE 2025 provided students with in-depth knowledge and inspiration on business and management topics, empowering them for future challenges.
