CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar, held its annual business conference, Marketic 2024, organized by MAXIM, XIMB’s Marketing Association. This year’s theme was “Digitizing Growth: Technology-Driven Renaissance in Marketing.”

The event featured esteemed guests from various industries, including Arpit Gupta, Associate Director of Subscriptions at JioSaavn; Pradyumna Pasari, Director of Marketing and Growth Strategy at HP Inc.; and Safalya Mishra, Senior Director at GroupM. They shared insights on marketing frameworks and encouraged young professionals to adopt future-ready marketing strategies. The conference was conducted by Professor Krishna Das Gupta.

Arpit Gupta emphasized the importance of understanding target audiences in today’s fragmented market, stating, “Technology is a tool, and its supportive impact leads us toward success.” He highlighted the significance of marketing technology (MarTech), Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools, and data-driven approaches for effective product marketing and audience engagement.

Speaking on the “Role of AI in Marketing,” Pradyumna Pasari advised, “Always strive to find that magical key that leads you to success and treasure.” He discussed customer purchasing intent and options available, explaining how AI capabilities can strengthen a brand’s competitive edge. He also stressed the importance of operational efficiency and growth in enhancing organizational assets.

Addressing the audience, Safalya Mishra said, “We tell stories that help strengthen brands and establish a deeper connection with the audience.” He emphasized the power of data storytelling, sharing examples of some of his favorite brands, and underscored the importance of purpose-driven marketing aimed at solving problems and bringing satisfaction to customers.

The conference concluded with a Q&A session conducted by Professor Krishna Das Gupta. Enthusiastic questions and thoughtful contributions from students offered new perspectives. MAXIM coordinator Dhrumil Kelkar gave a vote of thanks.

Marketic 2024 delivered a powerful message that successful marketing requires strong customer relationships, adaptability to changing markets, and a commitment to flexibility, responsibility, emotion, and purpose in implementing advertising and marketing campaigns.
