CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: IM University, Bhubaneswar celebrated its 9th Undergraduate Convocation with great grandeur and dignity, marking a significant milestone in the academic journey of its students. During the ceremony, a total of 560 undergraduate students were awarded degrees in various fields—an event that symbolized the celebration of years of dedication, perseverance, and academic rigor.

The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. Manoj Ahuja, IAS, Chief Secretary and Chief Development Commissioner of the Government of Odisha, who also addressed the gathering as the Convocation Speaker. In his speech, Mr. Ahuja shared his insights on leadership, integrity, and the role of youth in nation-building, inspiring the graduating students as they embark on their future paths. He also emphasized that while technology and AI play a critical role in progress, true fulfillment lies in happiness and meaningful human relationships.

Distinguished dignitaries present at the event included Fr. Antony R. Uvari, S.J., Vice Chancellor of XIM University; Fr. S. Antony Raj, S.J., Registrar; Fr. Arockiadoss Vanathiyan, S.J., Chief Finance Officer; Prof. V.R. Satyash Kumar, Controller of Examinations; Deans of various schools; senior officials; and esteemed members of the Board of Governors.

Prof. Sutapa Pati, Dean, School of Sustainability, warmly welcomed the students, parents, dignitaries, and guests, formally commencing the historic event.

Fr. Antony R. Uvari, S.J., Vice Chancellor, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Director Manoj Ahuja for accepting the university’s invitation and addressing its stakeholders with a clear and thought-provoking speech.

A major highlight of the program was the awarding of medals for academic excellence to top rank holders from various schools, presented by the Chief Guest.
