CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Regional Science Centre, Bhopal organized a live streaming of the launch of Axiom Mission 4, conducted by SpaceX and NASA. A large projection screen was set up to provide visitors with the opportunity to witness this historic moment.

An interactive session was also held during the event, where Mr. Saket Singh Kaurav, Curator ‘E’ and Project Coordinator at the Centre, shed light on the mission and engaged with the audience about its significance for India’s space program.

This mission holds great importance for India as it includes Group Captain Shubhangshu Shukla, an Indian astronaut, as one of its crew members. With this, Shukla becomes the second Indian astronaut to go to space, following Wing Commander Rakesh Sharma, marking a 41-year gap since an Indian last went to space.
