CNN Central News & Networks / ITDC India ePress / ITDC News / Agencies, Bhopal: Bollywood actor Nana Patekar has been in the news not only for his powerful acting but also for his short temper. Before working with him, actor Yashpal Sharma had also heard many stories about Nana’s anger. That was why, when he received the offer to work in the film “Ab Tak Chhappan”, Yashpal made his condition clear even before signing the contract. However, after working together, his opinion of Nana changed completely, and the two became good friends.
Yashpal Sharma recently shared his experiences of working with Nana Patekar in an interview during the promotion of the film “Jhaad Phoonk”. He said their first meeting in connection with the film took place at Nana’s home in Lokhandwala. As soon as the door opened, Nana tossed an apple towards his hand. Yashpal caught the apple. Nana then said that he was working in the film. For Yashpal, the meeting was quite unusual and surprising.
Yashpal said that when he went to sign the contract, he expressed his concern to director Shimit Amin. He said he had heard a lot about Nana’s anger and his behaviour on sets. Yashpal had made it clear that if Nana raised his hand against him, he would respond twice as strongly. He also said that if he was abused, he would not remain silent.
According to Yashpal, his experience after working with Nana was completely different. He described Nana as one of the best co-actors of his career. Yashpal said Nana did not get even a single scene of his cut from the film and gave full respect to his work. He also said that despite being a big star, Nana was very simple and down-to-earth. During the shoot, a good friendship developed between the two. Yashpal said it is important to know a person yourself instead of forming an opinion based on what others say.
