CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Sidharth Malhotra and Raashii Khanna led Yodha has finally hit the theatre screens today. The action thriller opened up to decent early reviews. The advance booking collections for day 1 has also closed on a promising note. While all the early signs are positive, scroll below for the latest box office updates!
Currently, Shaitaan is stealing the spotlight at the Indian theatres. R Madhavan and Ajay Devgn’s film opened up to a thunderous response and has maintained a strong momentum since. The genre is different, and there definitely is room for both films to grow individually. However, Yodha may have to face initial friction at the box office before creating a niche for itself.
Yodha Advance Booking Day 1
A day before the release, Sidharth Malhotra starrer added a total of 62 lakhs to the kitty via pre-booking sales. As per the latest update flowing in, the advance booking collections have now surged to 1.45 crores gross, which is about 133% higher. There has been notable growth since yesterday, and the positive word of mouth will further help pick up the pace at the box office.
Yodha was aiming to achieve the milestone of 50,000 tickets. But that target has also been unlocked with a significant margin. Talking about the closing numbers on day 1, the film has sold about 72,000+ tickets via advance booking sales.
As word of mouth grows, there will be a lot of spot bookings, and that will be the deciding factor in opening collections. Fingers crossed!
So far, everything looks decent, and there’s nothing to worry about!
