CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The NCC Naval Unit of Rabindranath Tagore University, Bhopal organized a special yoga session on the occasion of the 11th International Yoga Day. This session was successfully conducted at the Naval Sailing Node, Khanu Gaon, Upper Lake, Bhopal with the support of the Indian Navy.

The yoga session, held near a natural water body, was led by Associate NCC Officer Sub-Lieutenant Manoj Singh Manral. A total of 15 NCC cadets and 15 Navy staff members participated in the session. In the serene environment, participants practiced physical and mental balance through yoga exercises.

The event saw the active presence of Deputy Project Officer Chief Petty Officer Vipin Mishra and NCC trainer Durga Verma, who played a vital role in the coordination and guidance of the cadets. The objective of the event was to raise awareness about yoga among youth, prioritize mental health, and promote a healthy lifestyle.

During the session, participants enthusiastically and with discipline practiced Surya Namaskar, Pranayama, and various yoga asanas. This Yoga Day initiative not only promoted physical fitness and mental concentration among NCC cadets but also strengthened the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.’
