CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of International Yoga Day, a yoga session was organized at the NITTTR Bhopal campus. Faculty members, officers, staff, and children participated in the session, promoting the message of staying healthy. In his message on Yoga Day, Institute Director C.C. Tripathi mentioned that this year’s theme for International Yoga Day is ‘Yoga for Self and Society,’ which aims to promote physical, mental, and emotional health in society.
He emphasized how yoga can provide clarity for mental and physical health, enabling us to face life’s challenges more effectively. Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self. Yoga is known for its dual benefits: improving physical health and developing exceptional mental strength. Nowadays, with the fast-paced life where there is little time for health and high levels of stress, people fall prey to various illnesses. In such a scenario, dedicating just half an hour to 45 minutes to yoga can keep one healthy both physically and mentally. Understanding the importance of yoga, it is now being adopted globally as a significant practice.”
