CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of Yoga Sangam Day, a group yoga session was organized at Sarojini Naidu Government Girls Autonomous Postgraduate College, Bhopal, as part of the 11th International Yoga Day, themed “Yoga for One Earth, One Health.”
The event emphasized that yoga is a physical and spiritual practice with no affiliation to any religion or political ideology. Yoga contributes to both mental and physical well-being. Over 100 girl students participated and understood the importance of integrating yoga into daily life.
The event began with a lamp lighting ceremony before the idol of Goddess Saraswati, led by Chief Guest Bharat Vyas, Special Duty Officer to the Hon’ble Minister, Department of Higher Education, and Principal Dr. Deepti Srivastava, who presided over the event. A mass yoga session was then held in accordance with the protocol issued by the Ministry of AYUSH.

Administrative Officer Ashok Nema, faculty members, assistant professors, guest lecturers, and non-teaching staff all participated in the session.
Under the guidance of Rashmi Kela Holani (Sports Officer) and Manjula Vishwas (NSS Officer), a three-day yoga training camp was also organized, in which students from the Sports Department, NSS, Youth Red Cross, and NCC practiced yoga regularly.
