Yogi Highlights Uttar Pradesh Tourism Growth Vision

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed the functioning of the Tourism Department and emphasized the state's unique role as a symbol of India's cultural consciousness, spiritual traditions, and rich knowledge heritage. He stated that Uttar Pradesh is not merely a center of faith but a living representation of India's civilizational values, historical legacy, and cultural diversity.

During the review meeting, the Chief Minister directed officials to further strengthen tourism infrastructure, improve visitor experiences, and promote the state's heritage destinations at national and international levels. He stressed the importance of preserving historical monuments, religious sites, and cultural landmarks while ensuring modern facilities for tourists.

Yogi Adityanath highlighted that destinations such as Ayodhya, Kashi, Mathura, Prayagraj, and other heritage centers have significantly enhanced Uttar Pradesh's position on the global tourism map. He noted that the growth of spiritual, cultural, and heritage tourism is contributing to economic development, employment generation, and regional prosperity.

The Chief Minister also called for innovative tourism initiatives, effective branding strategies, and better connectivity to attract more domestic and international visitors. He reiterated the government's commitment to transforming Uttar Pradesh into one of India's leading tourism destinations while preserving its cultural identity and historical significance for future generations.
