CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Young Thinkers Conclave 2024’s inauguration ceremony took place at the Sanskriti Theater near Bhanwartal Garden, with the Minister of Higher Education, Technical Education, and AYUSH, Inder Singh Parmar, as the chief guest. During the event, Minister Parmar inaugurated the Jabalpur chapter of the Young Thinkers Forum, stating that it serves as an excellent platform for awakening thoughts and ideas among the youth. He emphasized that visionary youth will be better equipped to face future challenges.
He remarked that when challenges are equal, progress can be achieved through intellectual strength. India was once a world leader and, with its current progress and development, holds a distinguished place globally. With a positive mindset, India will become a developed and prosperous nation by 2047. Parmar highlighted that the education system introduced by the British, aimed at creating a mindset of subjugation, did not shed light on the true facts of India’s history, leading to a distorted portrayal of our ancestors as uneducated.
India possesses immense strength in education and culture. Reflecting on India’s glorious achievements, he noted that the country has had thousands of Gurukuls since ancient times, along with prestigious universities like Nalanda. India’s scientific tradition has been well-developed, which laid the foundation for a culture of worshipping natural elements. He added that Indians created a type of iron that was rust-resistant and, citing the Agastya Samhita, stated that India pioneered the creation of cells, continuing its scientific legacy. In the 13th century, Indian architect Balbahu designed the city of Beijing, and through nuclear tests, India showcased its strength to the world. He further mentioned that Indian scientists have long recognized the importance of energy, and by 2047, India aims to become a global energy provider and a nation that supports the world.
India’s tradition integrates knowledge and science, and it upholds a culture of gratitude, never forgetting those who have contributed to its progress. This is why India embodies a culture of thankfulness. He commended the Youth Thinkers Forum for launching a campaign to preserve the scientific tradition of Indian society. The event saw the presence of notable citizens, including the Vice-Chancellors of Rani Durgavati University, Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University, JNKVV, Manglayatan University, and officials from the Mahakaushal Science Council.
