CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At LNCT University, a grand Youth Parliament Competition was organized by the School of Legal Studies to strengthen the roots of democracy and familiarize the younger generation with parliamentary procedures. During this program, students not only played the roles of Members of Parliament and ministers but also engaged in sharp debates on pressing national issues. The chief guest of the event was Rameshwar Sharma (MLA). The program began with a lamp-lighting ceremony followed by Saraswati Vandana.

Addressing the participants, Rameshwar Sharma emphasized that democracy is the foundation of the country and the youth represent the voice of that democracy. The program was chaired by Mukesh Kumar Sahu (Dean & Director, School of Legal Studies, LNCT University). Distinguished guests present included Jai Narayan Chouksey (Chancellor, LNCT University), Anupam Chouksey (Group Secretary, LNCT), N.K. Thapak (Vice Chancellor, LNCT University), Ajit Soni (Registrar, LNCT University), A.K. Singhai (Dean Academic, LNCT University), and R.K. Chourasia (Principal, School of Paramedical, LNCT University).
The proceedings of the house began with the President’s address and the oath-taking of members. During the Question Hour, opposition members raised sharp questions, which were answered by the ruling party ministers in a measured and precise manner. The jury panel included M.K. Rajouria (Deputy Director, Parliamentary Institute), Ramesh Mahajan (Retired Deputy Secretary, Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly Secretariat), Arun Mishra (Assistant Professor of Law, State-Level Law College), and Anita Gendhar (Youth Parliament In-Charge).
Namika Dubey, Rohit Sharma, and Durgendra Singh Rajput played a significant role in ensuring the success of the program. On the program’s success, congratulations were extended by all, including Dharmendra Gupta (Executive Director).
