CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At the Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication (MCU), Bhopal, the Youth Parliament Competition—an annual event organized by Pt. Kunjilal Dubey National Parliamentary Institute—was successfully staged. A total of 30 university students actively participated as members of parliament, skillfully enacting various parliamentary roles.

On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Vijay Manohar Tiwari addressed the students before the performance, stating, “This is a significant moment in your life. When you look back on this 20 or 25 years from now, you will realize its true value.” He emphasized that the Youth Parliament serves as a crucial platform for students to learn and develop leadership skills, and he extended his best wishes to all participants.

During the Youth Parliament, students enacted parliamentary proceedings, including Question Hour and debates on the Presidential Address, presenting a lively and realistic simulation of the Indian parliamentary system. The primary aim of the performance was to educate students about parliamentary procedures, democratic values, and the nation-building process.

Serving as judges for the competition were Puneet Srivastava (Additional Secretary, State Assembly), M. L. Manwani (Under Secretary), Arun Kumar Mishra (Assistant Professor, State Law University), and Anita Gendhar (Youth Parliament In-charge, Pt. Kunjilal Dubey Parliamentary Institute).

Also present at the event were Dr. Aarti Sarang (Head, Department of Mass Communication), Ashish Joshi (Director, Production Department), Urvashi Parmar (Youth Parliament Coordinator), and Arun Kumar Khobre.
