CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A grand “Youth Sangam Mega Job Fair” was organized at the SOM, Balgrah campus of Vidyapeeth Group of Institutions, located on Khajuri Kalan Road in Bhopal. The event was conducted under the joint aegis of the District Employment Office, Bhopal, and CII–Young Indians (Yi), Bhopal Chapter.
The event saw the special presence of Krishna Gaur, Minister in the Government of Madhya Pradesh, who encouraged the youth by stating that such job fairs are a strong initiative towards youth empowerment by the state government. These fairs not only offer employment opportunities but also help build self-confidence.
More than 35 reputed companies and 3 self-employment institutions participated in the mega job fair. Over 600 youth attended the event, and more than 50 candidates received on-the-spot offer letters. Additionally, MOUs were signed with three companies.
A free health camp was also organized, keeping health awareness in mind, where participants and visitors benefited from medical check-ups. Career guidance and counseling sessions were held to provide the youth with proper direction toward employment.
Chief Guest S.K. Jain, Vice Chancellor of Barkatullah University, Bhopal, motivated the youth to perform self-assessment and set clear life goals. District Employment Officer A.B. Khan emphasized that such collaborative events between the public and private sectors are an effective medium to connect youth with practical opportunities.
Speaking on behalf of CII–Young Indians Bhopal Chapter, Mrs. Shraddha Suhane addressed the youth, saying, “A degree becomes meaningful only when it is accompanied by confidence, communication skills, and a positive mindset. Young Indians aim to connect youth leadership with community service and the industry.”
Chairman of Vidyapeeth Group, K.N. Suhane, expressed gratitude to all companies, guests, participants, and supporting organizations. He assured that the institute will continue to connect youth with new opportunities through such events in the future.
