CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the guidelines provided by NAKO and the Madhya Pradesh State AIDS Control Committee, and sponsored by the Higher Education Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, a 5 km “Red Run Youth Against HIV/AIDS” was organized at Barkatullah University, Bhopal, in collaboration with the RASEYO Cell, its Free Unit, and BSSS College, Bhopal. The event was held in the open area of Gyan Vigyan Bhavan, Bhopal, with the participation of college-level Red Ribbon Clubs and other youth groups. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS among youth and promote a positive mindset about the issue in society. Participants sent a strong message about personal health and their role in building a healthy and responsible community.

The run was inaugurated by the chief guests, including Director Prabhakar Tiwari, Joint Director National Health Mission, Director Ashok Kumar Shroti, Program Advisor, Regional Director Manoj Kumar Agnihotri, State NSS Officer, Savita Thakur, Joint Director IEC, MP State AIDS Control Committee, Director Anant Kumar Saxena, Program Coordinator RASEYO, Rahul Singh Parihar, Program Officer, and D.B. Singh, Program Officer BSSS. The Red Run began from the open area of Gyan Vigyan Bhavan, passed through the university campus, and returned to conclude at the same venue. Over 250 youth participated in the event.

1st: Adhya Singh, UIT Barkatullah University, Bhopal

2nd: Vaibhavi Jyoti, TIT Bhopal

3rd: Asha Barkade, Nutan College, Bhopal

Results – Boys Category:

1st: Golu Kataria, St. Mary’s College, Vidisha

2nd: Monam Chandravanshi, Central Sanskrit University, Bhopal

3rd: Aman Mewada, Systac Ratibadh

Winners were awarded ₹7,000, ₹5,000, and ₹3,000 for first, second, and third places respectively, along with consolation prizes for seven participants in each category.

In their addresses, the guests commended the courage and social commitment of the participants and encouraged them to adopt a healthy lifestyle and spread awareness in society. The winners will now participate in the State Red Run on 12 October 2025. The program concept was presented by Rahul Singh Parihar, and the vote of thanks was delivered by D.B. Singh.
