Acting in the matter, Pathalgaon police recovered the girl from Nala Sopara in Maharashtra. The accused youth has also been arrested.
According to information, the youth allegedly lured the minor with the promise of marriage and took her with him to Mumbai. After the family came to know that the girl was missing, they contacted the police. On the basis of the complaint, police began an investigation and gathered the necessary information to trace the girl.
During the investigation, police learned that the girl was in the Nala Sopara area of Maharashtra. A police team then acted and recovered her safely. Police took the accused youth into custody and arrested him. After the girl’s recovery, police are completing the necessary legal and medical procedures. Keeping the minor’s safety and privacy in mind, her identity has not been disclosed.
Police are taking action against the accused under the relevant sections and are carrying out further investigation in the case. The incident has once again raised concern over cases in which minors are lured and taken to other cities.
