Now, the Bombay High Court has given its verdict on their divorce, officially declaring Yuzvendra and Dhanashree legally separated. The couple had tied the knot in 2020, but nearly four years later, their relationship has come to an end. A shocking revelation has now surfaced regarding their separation.

According to the divorce petition filed by Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma, the couple had already separated two years after their marriage. In fact, Yuzvendra and Dhanashree first met during the 2020 lockdown. After meeting each other during the lockdown, they became friends, and their friendship soon blossomed into love. Subsequently, in December 2020, they decided to get married.

On February 5, 2025, Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma filed for divorce by mutual consent at the Family Court. According to media reports, Yuzvendra is required to pay ₹4.75 crore as alimony to Dhanashree. Out of this, he has already paid ₹2.37 crore. In their court statement, Yuzvendra and Dhanashree mentioned that they were facing several issues due to a lack of compatibility, which ultimately led them to the decision to separate.
