CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of International Women's Day, the auditorium of the Department of Advertising and Public Relations at Makhanlal Chaturvedi National Journalism and Communication University was named after the famous playback singer Lata Mangeshkar.

Vice Chancellor Prof. inaugurated the "Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar Auditorium" in a program organized by the newly formed Women Development Cell of the University. K.G. Done by Suresh.

On this occasion, he said that Lata was born in Indore city of Madhya Pradesh and she has impressed everyone with her melodious voice and charming singing.

 Talking about women empowerment, Prof. Suresh said that most of the officers and department heads of our university are women, which is an example for universities across the country. Media Mimansa research magazine was also released on this occasion.

Before this Prof. Saplings were also planted by Suresh.

Story telling competition on women empowerment was also organized by the cell. After this, in the program organized at Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Auditorium, when the students stepped on the stage wearing Indian costumes, the auditorium echoed with applause. In the program, students presented many wonderful cultural programs.

Dr. Pavitra Srivastava, Head of the Department of Advertising and Public Relations, Assistant Registrar Mr. Vivek Savarikar sang songs in a melodious voice, and there was support. Professor Dr. Arun Khobre recited self-written poems.

The program was conducted by student Muskaan Pathak, Akanksha and the show of gratitude was conducted by Dr. Aarti Sarang, Head of Department of Mass Communication. In the ceremony, Dean and Professor of Manav Rachna International Institute, Dr. Maithili Ganju, DCC Bhopal member Ms. Pratibha Pandey, Registrar Dr. Avinash Vajpayee, Dean Academics Dr. P.
