CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A Nutrition Week event was organized at Sarojini Naidu Government Girls Postgraduate College, Shivaji Nagar, Bhopal, under the Indian Knowledge Tradition Cell of the college. During the event, officials from the Women and Child Development Department, Poonam Soni, Varun Dubey, and their team, provided the students with simple tips on increasing hemoglobin levels, precautions to take during menstruation, and the importance of nutrition and diet, which are essential for daily living.
They explained when to consume various grains (such as wheat, chickpeas, mung beans, black gram, sorghum, millet, etc.) to ensure the body receives adequate nutrition and remains healthy and disease-free. On this occasion, the college’s principal, S.B. Goswami, along with the in-charge of the Indian Knowledge Tradition Cell, P.K. Khare, Ashok Nema, Monika Singh, and students were present.
