CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Laziness or stress? Body and mind signs reveal the real cause

Feeling tired throughout the day, losing interest in work or repeatedly wanting to rest is often mistaken for laziness. However, stress, lack of sleep or an underlying health problem may also be behind it. Instead of ignoring persistent fatigue, it is important to pay attention to its pattern and other symptoms appearing along with it.

When a person is under stress, they may experience irritability, constant worry, restlessness, difficulty concentrating, trouble making decisions or a feeling of being under pressure. Physical signs such as headache, muscle tension, stomach problems, changes in sleep and a faster heartbeat may also appear.

At the same time, if low energy continues for a long period despite adequate sleep, it should not be dismissed as mere laziness. Several conditions, including anemia, thyroid problems, diabetes, infection, sleep-related disorders, anxiety or depression, can also cause fatigue.

If fatigue persists for several weeks, begins to affect everyday work, or is accompanied by sudden weight changes, persistent sadness, breathlessness, rapid heartbeat or serious sleep problems, it is advisable to consult a doctor. If needed, a physician can identify the cause through examination and blood tests.
